I update the lists on a fairly frequent basis, but if you do not see exactly what you are looking for do contact me, as only a portion of my stock is represented here.
Note: A number in parentheses after the denomination of a coin indicates the coin's diameter in millimeters.
What's New
Nearly 350 new coins in this update including some affordable rarities, look for a Sextus Pompey denarius, some interesting English hammered coins and an extremely rare 1845 over 3 halfcrown among many other offerings, from run-of-the-mill to highly esoteric.PayPal
I now have a Paypal account. Whether or not you use Paypal please see the revised terms and conditions at the bottom of this page, there are several changes.Illustrations
I am occasionally asked if it is alright to 'lift' illustrations from the site for research purposes, this is no problem at all though if they are being published in any form an acknowledgment is always appreciated.Photographs of most of the coins are now available online. If you see image displayed under the catalog number you can see a picture of the coin by clicking on the word image.
Note: Due to the difficulties of photographing coins under artificial light the colours shown in the photographs may differ from those of the actual coins. Please also bear in mind that the size shown on screen will be different to the actual size of the coins. The photographs are provided as a guide only, but are of the actual coins offered for sale.
Roman Heads
For collectors of Roman 'heads' there is a free download, simply listing all those in whose names coins in the Imperial and Greek Imperial series were issued, I have for some years been giving away a photocopied A4 version in the shop and many collectors have found it a useful aide-memoire, you can now download and print a more sophisticated version of this to make a handy A5 booklet, just go to the Downloads menu and click as instructed.Terms of Business, UK Customers

Terms of business, Overseas Customers
- There are several methods of payment available:
- A GBP cheque, banker's draught or money order drawn on a UK bank.
- Cash in GBP, USD or Euros.
- Electronic Transfer, expensive for orders under about £275.
- PayPal, which must the quickest and safest method available. Paypal charges me a 2.9% commission, plus a 30 US cents transaction fee and a further 1% charge on 'cross border' transactions so I have to, regrettably, ask for an extra 4% to cover this. Should you not already have one, opening a Paypal account is extremely simple and just takes a few minutes, see www.paypal.com
- Coins will be despatched by insured postage immediately on clearance of funds, type of postage varies a little from country to country, but I endeavour to use the safest and most efficient forms possible.
- Costs of postage vary but are usually between £6 and £8, heavier or more valuable lots may cost a little more.
- The terms for returned goods are the same as those for UK customers.
